Brandeis High School Programs - Design Lab Fellowship: Create an authentic solution to a local Jewish organization's problem and build it using Design Thinking. Fellowship Applications due December 22nd.

The Keshet/Hazon LGBTQ and Ally Teen Shabbaton: Join us for a weekend of fun, community, and learning for and by Jewish LGBTQ and ally teens!

Summertime

NFTY in Israel: Four different summer experiences in Israel for teens, developed and run by the Reform Movement's youth group organization.

URJ Mitzvah Corps - Hands-on Social Justice Service Programs for Teens: Spend part of your summer, or an entire summer, on one or more of our social justice and service experiences, now in eight different locations in the USA, Israel, and South America.

Nesiya - Inspiring Journeys in Israel: Summer Israel travel program with an emphasis on diverse cohorts.

Specialty Camps: New summer experiences based on interest, including the URJ 6 Points Sci-Tech camp.


BBYO Passport: Pluralistic Jewish teen travel programs to 18 different countries, including Israel.


BIMA & GENESIS, Brandeis HS Programs: Summer programs at Brandeis University - intensive experiences in the arts (BIMA) or in a variety of interest areas (GENESIS) with an international group in a Jewish setting.



Artsbridge Institute: Artsbridge, Inc. is a Boston based nonprofit organization that uses art and dialogue to develop constructive partnerships between American, Israeli, and Palestinian youth.
Tivnu: Building Justice: Work on concrete projects, fight for social justice, and create community in Portland, Oregon. Summer program for HS students from this gap-year organization. 

JustCity Leadership Institute: Two-week summer NYC Jewish social justice program.


Scholarships, Contests, Awards:

The Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards: Up to fifteen selected teens, five from California and ten from other communities across the country, are acknowledged annually for their visionary actions with an award of $36,000, to be used to further their philanthropic work or their education. Nomination through 12/14.

The Kaplun Foundation Essay Contest: $1,800 1st Prize. Due 3/6/15.

Post High School: Gap Years, Interships, Etc.

MachonKaplan - Summer Internship with the Religious Action Center: For undergrads interested in Judaism and social justice. Based in Washington, D.C.; offered by the RAC, Reform Judaism's office in Washington.

Netzer Year - URJ Gap Year in Israel: Volunteer in local communities. Live and work on a kibbutz. Learn Hebrew. Travel the country. Meet Israelis. Make a difference.

Tivnu: Building Justice - Social Justice Gap Year in the USA: Work on concrete projects, fight for social justice, and create community in Portland, Oregon. $4k early-bird until 12/15.

BBYO Beyond - Gap Year in Israel: Five- or nine-month program comprising study, leadership development, community service, educational travel, and Jewish life experiences in Israel.
